Getting Here

Matanzas Inlet is located about 15 miles south of the City of St. Augustine, Florida on Highway A1A

  • Click here for directions via google maps. Enter your starting address and go!

  • Hours: 24 x 7 x 365. Matanzas Inlet and the beach is always open, however Ft. Manazas National Monument is currently closed due to the Covid 19 Pandemic.

  • Parking is free and limited on both the north and south sides of the Matanzas inlet Bridge. Arrive early in the warm months

  • Facilities: There is no running water or bathrooms, or vending. Plan to bring food, water, and sunscreen. Please take your trash home with you upon leaving and pick up trash left by others.

  • Pets: Pets are allowed but must be leashed.
